Bambu Lab H2D + AMS 2 Pro
The Bambu Lab H2D is an enclosed FDM 3D printer with two nozzles and an actively heated chamber, designed for large parts and engineering materials. We run it as a set with the AMS 2 Pro station.
- Two nozzles in one head — two materials, or material and support, in the same print
- Active chamber heating up to 65 °C
- Hardened steel nozzle, up to 350 °C
- Build volume
- Single nozzle: 325 × 320 × 325 mm · dual nozzle: 300 × 320 × 320 mm · total: 350 × 320 × 320 mm
- Materials
- PLA, PETG, TPU, PVA, BVOH, ABS, ASA, PC, PA, PET; PLA, PETG, PA, PET, PC, ABS and ASA reinforced with carbon or glass fibres; PPA-CF/GF, PPS, PPS-CF/GF
- Temperatures
- Nozzle up to 350 °C · bed up to 120 °C · chamber up to 65 °C
- Speed
- Toolhead up to 1000 mm/s · acceleration up to 20,000 mm/s²

Bambu Lab AMS 2 Pro
The AMS 2 Pro stores four filament spools in a sealed housing, dries them and feeds them to the printer automatically. This lets the H2D print in several colours or from several materials without manual changes.
- Capacity
- 4 spools
- Drying
- Up to 65 °C, with active moisture venting
- Storage
- Sealed, with temperature and humidity monitoring
- Supported filaments
- PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PET, PA, PC, PVA and BVOH (dried), PP, POM, HIPS, Bambu PLA-CF / PAHT-CF / PETG-CF, Support for PLA/PETG, TPU for AMS
- Not supported
- TPE, regular TPU, damp PVA and BVOH, Bambu PET-CF and TPU 95A, other filaments with carbon or glass fibres
Some filaments (e.g. ABS, ASA, PA, PC) require a higher drying temperature than the AMS 2 Pro reaches, so it cannot dry them completely. Filaments the AMS 2 Pro does not support are fed to the printer from an external spool.
